Flandre sighed slightly, this battle was getting tiresome. Her next attacks weren't landing at all and this was becoming a problem; strangely, Flandre wanted to show off in front of her new "friend".
"So I was thinking, exactly how does this ability of yours work?" Dodging an attack from the Ghoul, Flandre attempted a kick towards her enemy but unfortunately, her attack was not successful. "I've never seen something like that before, fighting with cards. Is that sort of a gamble?" Her eyes quickly drifted to the right, there seemed to be a crack in the ground; a feeling of déja-vu drifted across her, where had she seen that before? Taking a step forward, Flandre heard a crack on the ground, that couldn't be good.
Something had been wrong with her mind lately so Flandre decided to confirm her suspicions with Alaren, "Did you hear that?" She asked as a Ghoul passed through her right arm. Worried that he might look at her like she was insane, Flandre decided to add, "That cracking sound?"
CRACK! CRRRRRR- ACK!
The ground beneath them started trembling, whimpering sounds escaped from the Ghouls as if this earthquake phenomenon was the norm. Suddenly, everything stopped, as if there was never a ground rumbling to begin with. "Wha- in the world...."
Soon after, the Wolf Ghouls fled, away from the attackers though something seemed to nudge Flandre to the idea that her and Alaren weren't the ones they were running away from. A little disappointed that her battle had just ended, Flandre sighed, her dark crimson eyes stared at the ground before lifting towards his. "Might as well continue our search for this stupid flower."
