Darastrix is an odd fellow in his own way. He is rather quiet and likes to keep to himself on most days, but when he is in a good mood he may jump out of his skin entirely. As well as most dragons however, he has a slight temper and sense of competitiveness, but to him it's more drowned out by his laziness and calm mood.
On the outside he almost always looks the same, changing expressions rarely, it's a solemn and unamused look, which is nearly contrary to him as he is very fond of the world and it's treasures, as well as the people it contains. He s very easy to get along with, normally just going with the flow of things.
He loves to teach, and would rather be teaching than almost anything else besides maybe reading or sleeping. He also has no grudge against Tempest and wonders why the two can't just stop fighting often. He also has a sort of addiction to cigarettes, although it is true that he can stop whenever need be, he prefers not to as the drugs like tobacco have a different effect on him as he is a dragon, it acts sort of like caffeine and a painkiller.
✗—APPEARANCE:
Darastrix has somewhat stringy and messy medium to long length golden blonde hair that goes a little above his nose. His skin is lightly tanned to give the appearance that he is outside somewhat. His eyes are a deep goldenrod, they seem to swirl and have their own patterns which change daily. He is a rather sturdy looking man of about 6feet in height with a slightly muscular complexion.
The clothes he wears are quite odd for someone you'd think of as a teacher. He wears a darkblueish grey shirt with a high v-neck. Over that he wears a brown jacket that is rather tight looking and has fur lined on the outside of the hood. His pants are dark blue, yet faded blue jeans slightly too long for him which are fraying at the bottom.
His shoes are dark brown hiking boots. On both his hands he normally wears a couple rings and a bracelet or two.

Combat Information
✗—FIGHTING STYLE: (3 Maximum)
O Blaze Blitz - A combat style he created himself, combining his element of fire to create fast and fiery strikes against the opponent. His hands and feet are engulfed by fire as his movements become quick but powerful. He normally makes short and fast punches and kick, but every once in a while he will use a strong hit to break the opponents guard. Because of his strength from being a dragon he also throws and grapples his opponents easily. He also has mixed in a bit of different styles he has seen all around the world. He can figure out pressure points rather easily as well which may in turn disable a part of the opponents body.
O Axe of Timber - This is his main focus of attack, for this he uses his 7ft tall axe to swing heavy strikes, which can smash earth. Although it seems to be a very heavy axe due to it's special property and him having a dragons strength it is incredibly easy to swing for him, almost like a dagger making the attacks that much more lethal. As well as just normal swinging he is also able to engulf the blade of the axe in fire that is as hot as hell itself. With this he may just swing it about like normal with fire damage or he may shoot it in a line, which is obviously in most cases more effective.
O Fight or Flight - A rather... Unique style per se, while using this style he is almost always in the air, pretty much toying with his enemies, maybe shooting fireballs at them, picking them up and dropping them, or even just teasing them. But what the style is truly meant for is flying into the air and dropping for a kick or punch. In this style he will fly around at high speeds and do fast swipes with claws that grow from his fingernails, much like a dragons claw, or sweeping kicks while midair. These attacks are fairly quick but non-the-less dodge-able. His favorite "move" to do in this is the barrel kick where he flies into the air and drops down feet first at the enemy spinning, while fire envelopes all around him making somewhat of a flaming tempest.
✗—INVENTORY:
O Flame Under Blade - Darastrix carries an ancient axe forged from the fire inside himself. It is easily as tall as him. The blade itself is the size of Darastrix's torso. Being forged from his soul it is a part of him, being almost weightless only to him. Others who try to carry his weapon or even touch it can be horribly burned, and the weight is immense. Due robot being created for him out of his being he is able to De-materialize and Materialize it at will, making it easy to carry around. (Still counts as a item)
O Ring of Flame – This is one of the many rings he wears around, but unlike the rest has a special gemstone and property that allows him to freely control fire, whether it be taken from a source or his own. It also makes it so he burns less easily.
O Potion Supply - Darastrix carries around a few potions for those, just in case, situations that will heal wounds fairly quickly and slight rejuvenate the selected individual. Although they taste nasty they have a decent effect. x5
✗—NORMAL ABILITIES:
O Standard Punch/Kick - Darastrix punches or kicks in random places. That's it. 2-3 Damage
O Dragon Claw - As he is punching sometimes he may grows claws and swipe quickly cutting the enemy severely if hit right. After the swipe they disappear to allow him to punch again quickly.
O Dropkick - Darastrix jumps into the air and puts all force into his feet to kick an opponent square in the chest, then he catches himself with his hand and puts himself upright. 3-4 Damage, or he can push off or run with his wings to do extra damage, and potentially sending the opponent flying 4-6 Damage.
O Roundhouse Kick - Dara spins back and releases quickly lifting his leg to create a hard impact on a surface with either the bak or front of his foot. 6-8 Damage.
O Upper-Kick - Dara jumps up back flipping And attempts to kick the opponent while possibly dodging. 4-6 Damage.
O Dragon Flight - This is less of a attack and more of a passive skill. From being born most dragons have wings, whether they be their as or on their back extensions. Darastrix has the latter, but sadly they are very vulnerable being unable to hide them unless he has them under his jacket(Which he normally does). He has slits in his shirts for his wings. They allow him to fly around at will, but not very fast, maybe around 30mph to 50mph at max speed.
O Wing Shield - Although the insides of his wings are fragile and weak, the outside skin is a sturdy and near un-cuttable red scaled shield. He can use his wings to shield him from many attacks, but the more he does the harder it is for him to fly.
O Barrel kick - He flies into the air and drops down feet first at the enemy spinning rapidly while fire envelopes all around him making somewhat of a flaming tempest. Hitting the opponent would cause burns as well as just impact damage. After he hits the ground or the opponent a wave of fire bursts from the impact zone sort of like a soundwave in all directions. 6-8 Damage

O Before the Academy: Darastrix was born, well hatched as a upper class, humanoid Dragon from Avon, a mountainous nation-like state known for it's intelligent species of animals and creatures alike. Even though they are human in form, humanoids have a bone structure as sturdy as a dragons, and their skin is incredibly durable as well, but with the quickness of a human this makes humanoids the highest class.
Darastrix was created as the deity of fire in a small province of Eliswore. Although the world grew technologically advanced, this particular province and a few others strayed from tha path and kept the ways of their ancestors. From the moment he was born till the moment he left he was expected to be incredibly knowledgable.
As a child he had little to no free time as he was always reading scripture and other sorts of information on the history of the world. He loved this subject and most would come to him for small stories of the past or even folk tales, but of course he also had his deity duties, which were to please the people(of course), cleanse the temple he lived in and the village that followed him, as well as fighting any threat.
Due to this he became a very skilled fighter with his axe, flame under blade. After decades upon decades of this same routine he grew tired and decided a change was in order, he had read about the technology people outside their quiet mountain pass were creating and wanted to introduce the villagers to them. Upon doing so he was quickly hushed by the higher ranking officials of the town. Still, that wouldn't keep him down. Any chance he got he would teach the people of these new devices.
Sadly the higher-ups wanted none of this, they were stubborn with their culture. They offered Darastrix a deal, either leave Avon in peace or be locked up. He chose the reasonable offer, having wanted to explore beyond books he left.
Leaving was his greatest achievement in his mind, and he bore no resentment towards his people. He saw things though that no one should see for a long as he had. A war was being waged between two places. It lasted for nearly a thousand years. During this time he tried to avoid this conflict as much as possible as he learned more about the world and it's inhabitants.
After centuries of this he grew tired of travel and wanted to settle down, the war had also died down as the academies came to an agreement. Seeing a opportunity he applied for the history "teacher" at the Maelstrom academy hoping to teach the youth.
O After the Academy: He only recently joined after the Maelstrom staff after the war ended, but in his short time he has become friends with most of the students and other staff. Although he tries to befriend the other school it doesn't seem to work.
